I hate the new varification feature, that pops up randomly, when on tries to check out. I need to be able to turn it off permanently! The phone, at checkout is never in the right position to take a finger print, and it becomes a lot of struggle with failed payments. Try THAT in front of a long line, in front of the checkout. BTW: when adding documents, like Vax passports, the app does not accept anything over 2 pages.

To provide a more secure and consistent in-store payments experience, Google Wallet now requires on-device authentication before completing a payment, regardless of the amount. This means you'll need to unlock your phone using a PIN, pattern, passcode, or Class 3 biometric for all non-transit tap-to-pay transactions. Learn more: g.co/help/3xjh9.

No longer usable as intended. After update it locks after i scan reward card and change to payment card. It doesn't trigger the unlock until after the retailer tries the payment, adding unnecessary delays and stress in the process (drive through, where they're trying to get you through as fast as possible). Doesn't seem to be a setting to adjust this behavior. Fingerprint scanner stops working until Wallet is closed and reopened. Card tap resumes working at that time too.

Sorry about that, Dustin. Are you using Smart Unlock? Google Wallet doesn't work with Smart unlock, thus you will be prompted to unlock again. If everything looks good but you still experience problems: goo.gle/3Q7Hcg7. Thanks!

Incredibly frustrated. Used Google Wallet successful for years, and it was far better than the Samsung alternative. Unfortunately after recently replacing my phone due to a broken screen, Google Wallet won't let me add any credit cards to it on the new phone... It keeps giving me an error that the card can't be added, even though the cards had been added and working fine on my previous phone. I've been going back and forth with Google support for weeks with no resolution. Help!
