Ever since the most recent update, I've been stuck with a permanent blurred background. I can't find any way to turn this off. Any information I look up is either outdated or just doesn't work. Why is this so difficult to turn off? Edit: Still no solution, even with developer feedback. This is the only app that's having this issue. There is no longer an option prior to video chat to disable blur. Edit 2: Have to stop using this app. Absolutely no way to turn blur off. Nothing helped.

Preview video works then camera turns off for the actual call. Camera permission is enabled. Audio is fine. Worked great on my old Galaxy phone, doesn't work well on my new Galaxy. No way to reach a real person at Google and trying to post for help via the community answer page yields a warning that my message violates their terms (same info as above was to be posted). Multiple uninstall/reinstall with no success. I'm at a loss at how to make this work as it should. Original and updated Meet.

The video quality is amazing. I have to use this 6-8 times a month, sometimes for large group conferences with 30+ people and I don't know how it does it, but everything comes through incredibly clear. I can see 8 people on the screen, for example, and all of their video images are crystal clear, and it's the same for my image to them. I would like to know out of curiosity what codec is being used for the video compression. HVEC or AV1? Maybe not even that for compatibility. Great app!
