It seems useful and has a nice look to it. I didn't expect it to ignore my previous ringtone and notification sound settings. I didn't expect to start getting notifications from it's built in ChatGPT interface either. I would not recommend installing this unless you are doing so on a new device, or have ample time to reconfigure your phone once installed. You are going to be dealing with that "new phone experience" either way.

Recently, I found out that when I try to use the backup function, after it performs a backup, it gives me an error saying "cannot access Google account," but it was working fine before. After these updates, I think this app kind of broke. Oh, now I cannot see the option called "who can see my Truecaller profile" in privacy. I also have a premium subscription and thought it was moved to a premium feature, but now it doesn't even exist. Additionally, I cannot see an option to connect my Facebook.

Gehan, Give the troubleshooting steps in this link a shot: https://support.truecaller.com/en/support/solutions/articles/81000392409-backup-restore Truecaller accounts are now set to private profiles by default, so that option has been removed. We suggest logging in with your Gmail ID, as the Facebook login option has been taken out of the app. /RJ

Update after using it for a 2 years (paid version) : It does an amazing job and I recommend it to all my friends BUT.... It drives me crazy as it always asks if I want it to be my "default" app for calls and messages although I selected no every time it comes back again asking me in a week or two. Privacy should be more clear as people can see when you're online and I wasn't aware of this. It looks bad as an app which is true but it does the job.
