TCF Provider settings are not restored

Users are complaining because the settings of the TCF providers within the consent form are not restored when they edit the consent options again.

Why is this the case and is it a problem? What can I tell my users?

Hi,

The consent message visually displays the default consent choices and selections every time the message is displayed. However, the user's consent choices are saved to local storage after the user makes a consent decision. For more information, kindly refer to this.

I cannot confirm that the settings are restored. If I make settings in the same session and then open the form again with showPrivacyOptionsForm, the settings are gone.

I have discussed this within the team and got to know it's an intended behavior. The selected items will not save.
